How You Can Help

The Pine Ridge Oglala Lakota (Sioux) Indian Reservation is located in the southwest corner of South Dakota, fifty miles east of the Wyoming border and is about the size of the state of Connecticut.  The reservation covers 11,000 square miles and is the second-largest Native American reservation in the United States.  Recent reports show that the median annual income is approximately $2,600 to $3,500 per year and that the school drop-out rate is over 70%.

We are available to share with your club or classroom our experiences and knowledge about the Pine Ridge Reservation.  Please send us an email regarding our availability.

In addition, you can help us to provide a bi-annual scholarship to a student in financial need enrolled at The Oglala Lakota College by sending a donation.
